Job Details
Technical Support Engineer at insightsoftware is the first-line support for our expanding customer base and software users. You provide a high-quality support experience, troubleshooting, documenting, and resolving technical issues. You partner with client services and development teams for quality service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical solutions and guidance throughout the support cycle for internal and external teams.
- Analyze and explain data/process flow in CPM and Tax Provision software.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data and technical issues.
- Create client workarounds/temporary solutions.
- Answer customer questions and provide info on product operation, maintenance, and repair.
- Lead conference calls with clients to understand issues and business cases.
- Transfer Longview knowledge to customers as needed.
- Provide structured information and troubleshooting logs to engineering teams.
- Assist in identifying/defining new product opportunities and enhancements.
- Be on-call for after-hours critical issues.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Essential: 2+ years customer service experience, experience with Longview Tax product, 3+ years in corporate accounting/tax related areas for large corporations, excellent verbal & written communication, strong attention to detail.
- Preferred: Ability to proofread/edit documents, strong problem-analysis/solving skills, strong research ability to offer solutions while adhering to policy guidelines, project management and quality control ability, handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
