Job Details
Supervise shifts and/or work areas to ensure high quality products and customer service for restaurant profitability.
Management responsibilities include: executing company policies, procedures, programs, and systems, and ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and ethical business practices.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervise restaurant team, maintain adequate staffing, train team members to exceed customer expectations, and ensure uniform and appearance standards are met.
- Ensure team is quality and customer focused, and build a positive work atmosphere.
- Safely interact with customers at their homes.
- Receive and process telephone orders.
- Handle sensitive and confidential customer information responsibly.
- Execute credit transactions and make bank deposits.
- Professionally and promptly respond to customer concerns.
- Solicit customer feedback, share feedback with team, and improve restaurant operations.
- Communicate, train, and promote quality standards.
- Comprehend and give correct written instructions.
- Communicate verbally with customers and co-workers.
- Execute cash management duties.
- Assist in inventory management.
- Perform basic math (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
- Make correct monetary change.
- Take and process orders (verbal, written, telephone).
- Enter orders using computer keyboard or touch screen.
- Operate all equipment and clean equipment/facility daily.
- Stock ingredients from delivery area.
- Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
- Prepare product.
- Safely operate a motor vehicle.
Physical Demands
- Standing: Most tasks are performed standing.
- Walking: Short distances.
- Lifting: Deliveries (up to 50 lbs).
- Carrying: Large cans, pizza sauce, trays of pizza dough.
- Pushing/Pulling: Move trays on dollies.
- Climbing: Infrequent stairs/ladder.
- Stooping/Bending: Essential at the pizza assembly station.
- Crouching/Squatting: Occasional stocking and cleaning.
- Reaching: Continuous, up, down, forward.
- Hand Tasks: Eye-hand coordination, continuous use of hands.
- Machines/Tools: Utilize pencils, computers, phones, calculators, pizza cutter, pizza peel.
Driving: Deliver pizzas within a designated area.
Work Conditions
- Exposure to: Varying weather conditions, temperatures (36-90+ degrees), fumes, cornmeal dust, cramped quarters.
- Sensing: Talking/hearing on telephone, vision (near/mid-range), depth perception, differentiation between hot/cold surfaces.
- Temperaments: Directing, repetitive tasks, working alone/with others, stress, quality control.
Education and/or Experience
- High School diploma or GED
Additional Information
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Valid driver's license and insurance.
- Work scheduled/unscheduled shifts, nights, weekends.
- Ability to perform all restaurant positions, including delivery.
- Ability to lead a team with no supervision.
- Bilingual ability in certain situations
- Work with phones, computers, fax machines, and copiers.
