Full-Time Shift Leader (Domino's - Newton KS)

Supervise shifts and/or work areas to ensure high quality products and customer service for restaurant profitability.

Manage operations, executing all company policies, procedures, and systems. Ensure compliance with all laws and ethical practices.

1. Supervise a restaurant team: Maintain staffing levels, train team members for customer satisfaction, ensure uniform compliance, and coach for improved performance. Foster teamwork, energy, and fun.
2. Customer interaction: Safely interact with customers at their homes, receive and process phone orders, and handle confidential information responsibly.
3. Operational duties: Execute credit transactions, make bank deposits, respond to customer concerns promptly and professionally, solicit and act on customer feedback to improve operations and brand loyalty, communicate and train on quality standards. Comprehend and give written instructions, communicate with customers and co-workers for order processing (phone and in person). Execute cash management duties, and manage inventory to minimize loss.
4. Skills and abilities: Add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately (may use calculator); make correct monetary change; possess verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders; have motor coordination for precise movements; enter orders using computer keyboard/touch screen; operate and clean equipment; stock ingredients; take inventory and complete paperwork; prepare product.
5. Physical demands:
   • Standing, walking, sitting for paperwork.
   • Lifting, carrying, pushing/pulling (including lifting/carrying heavy items up to 50 pounds and trays).
   • Climbing (stairs or ladders) for maintenance and price changes.
   • Stooping/bending, crouching/squatting, reaching (frequent and extended reaching).
   • Hand tasks (frequent and forceful use of hands and forearms, e.g. shaping pizza dough, using pizza peel/cutter).
6. Exposure to: Varying/adverse weather conditions, wide range of in-store temperatures, fumes from food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped quarters (walk-in cooler), hot surfaces/tools, sharp edges, moving parts.
7. Sensing & Temperaments: Talking/hearing on the phone, near/mid-range vision, depth perception, hot/cold surface differentiation, directing activities, performing repetitive tasks, working alone/with others, handling stress, adhering to quality control standards, dealing with people, analyzing/compiling data, making judgments and decisions.

Additional Information:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license, acceptable MVR, proof of insurance, and satisfactory vehicle.
• Able to work scheduled/unscheduled shifts, including nights, weekends, and emergencies.
• Ability to successfully perform job duties of all positions (including delivery).
• Lead a team during a shift with no supervision.
• Possible bilingual requirements.
• Work with phones, computers, fax machines, and copiers.
• Non-exempt, hourly position.
