Job Details
Supervise shifts and/or work areas in the operation of an Independent Domino’s Franchisee’s (“IDF”) restaurant. Ensure high quality products and customer service, maintaining restaurant profitability.
Other responsibilities include the management of operations. This includes executing all company policies, procedures, programs, and systems. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws, and ethical business practices.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervise a restaurant team, maintain adequate shift staffing levels, train team members, ensure compliance with uniform standards, and coach for improved performance. Ensure quality and customer focus, and build a positive team environment.
- Safely interact with customers at their homes.
- Receive and process telephone orders.
- Handle sensitive customer information responsibly.
- Execute credit transactions and bank deposits.
- Professionally and promptly respond to customer concerns or issues. Solicit feedback, share it with the team, and use it to improve operations and brand loyalty.
- Communicate, train, and promote quality standards using available tools.
- Comprehend and give correct written instructions, communicate verbally with customers and coworkers to process orders.
- Execute cash management duties. Assist in managing inventory levels.
- Perform basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division; may use calculator). Make correct monetary change.
- Utilize verbal, written, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
- Operate all equipment. Clean equipment and facility daily.
- Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and cooler. Take inventory and complete paperwork.
- Prepare product.
- Safely operate a motor vehicle. (Pizza Delivery)
Physical Demands:
- Standing: Most tasks are performed while standing.
- Walking: Short distances.
- Sitting: Paperwork at a desk or table.
- Lifting: Bulk product deliveries may involve lifting/moving items up to 50 pounds.
- Carrying: Various items such as cans, pizza sauce, trays of dough.
- Pushing/Pulling: Move trays on dollies.
- Climbing: Infrequent climbing of stairs or ladders.
- Stooping/Bending: Necessary at various workstations.
- Crouching/Squatting: Occasional stocking and cleaning.
- Reaching: Continuously; up, down, and forward.
- Hand Tasks: Eye-hand coordination; frequent use of hands.
- Machines/Tools/Equipment: Computers, phones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutter, pizza peel.
- Driving: Deliver pizzas.
- Walking (Delivery): Steady and efficient pace.
Work Conditions:
- Exposure to varying weather conditions and in-store temperatures (36°F to 90°F+).
- Food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped quarters.
- Hot surfaces/tools from oven.
- Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.
- Talking and hearing on the telephone.
Education and Experience:
- High School diploma or GED
Additional Information:
- Must be 18 years or older
- Valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, proof of insurance
- Work scheduled/unscheduled shifts (nights, weekends, emergencies)
- Ability to perform all restaurant positions, including delivery
- Ability to lead a shift with no supervision
- Bilingual in certain situations
- Work with phones, computers, fax machines, and copiers
- Non-exempt, hourly position.
