The Commercial Account Executive will generate new business sales revenue from software licenses within customers in the Bay Area with 1,000 to 5,000 employees.
This involves territory planning, prospect research, business development strategies, and field-based sales activities within an assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build relationships with Mid-Market clients.
- Achieve quarterly and annual sales quotas.
- Develop and implement a sales strategy with a target prospect list and regional sales plan.
- Partner with the marketing team for marketing plans to increase growth.
- Qualify prospects, develop new sales opportunities, and establish ongoing revenue streams.
- Conduct initial product demonstrations and presentations.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and develop additional revenue streams through ongoing account management.
- Act as a trusted advisor to customers, understanding their business and advising on how ServiceNow can assist their IT roadmap.
Requirements:
- Residency in the Metro Atlanta area.
- 5+ years of experience in a Commercial Account Executive (or equivalent) role within the IT industry.
- Proven ability to achieve sales targets.
- Experience working in a matrixed support organization using multiple virtual specialists.
- Executive-level relationship management experience.
- Ability to provide transparency to the sales process with excellent CRM hygiene.
- 20-40% travel, and up to 50% in some cases.
