NBCUniversal is seeking a highly skilled Staff Site Reliability Engineer within Workplace Technology Engineering.
Responsibilities:
- Design and operations of global workplace solutions.
- Experience across multiple platforms.
- Leading role in developing technical solutions supporting workplace operations.
- Device management (Windows, macOS, iOS, Android) throughout their lifecycle.
- VDI and app virtualization platforms (W365, WVD, Horizon).
- Device health analytics (Nexthink, Intune Analytics).
- Technology advocate, driving system design and implementation.
- Vetting vendor solutions, designing initiatives, and leading as a technology expert.
- Researching, beta testing, documenting, and training engineers/technicians on new products/processes.
- Creating procedures and managing infrastructure improvements.
- Collaboration with Engineering, Operations, Network, Cyber, and Security teams.
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 8+ years’ experience in IT, 5+ years in desktop/end user systems engineering.
- Large enterprise setting experience (30,000+ endpoints).
- IT security and compliance best practices.
- Building cross-functional relationships.
- Understanding NBCU business processes.
- Automated workstation build methodologies, software packaging, and deployment.
- System administration experience with Windows, Linux, and macOS.
- Automation and scripting languages (Ansible, Bash, Perl, Python, PowerShell).
- Intune, AutoPilot, SCCM, Nexthink, Active Directory, Jamf, and M365.
- AWS Workspace, VMware Horizon Cloud, Citrix Workspace, Microsoft W365, and/or Microsoft AzureAD.
- Implementing, deploying, and supporting MDM tools and infrastructure.
- Effective communication with personnel at all levels and external vendors.
- Interpersonal skills for productive collaboration.
- Executing in a fast-paced agile environment.
- Working independently and collaboratively.
Desired Characteristics:
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and IT project management.
- Consulting experience; recognized as a thought leader.
- Working knowledge of standard web technologies and exploring new technologies.
- AWS & Azure certifications.
- Microsoft or M365 certifications.
Additional Requirements:
- Fully remote position.
Salary Range: $145,000 - $175,000 (bonus eligible)
