Strategic Account Manager partners with customers to secure their entire digital experience. You'll solve critical challenges in their secure environment, connecting them with solutions for every stage of threat prevention. This role drives company revenue and growth.
Responsibilities:
- Own revenue expansion within Palo Alto Networks' largest clients.
- Drive complex sales cycles, collaborating with internal partners.
- Identify business challenges & create solutions using consultative selling.
- Understand competitive landscape & customer needs to position solutions.
- Set clear goals, create accurate forecasts, and develop territory plans.
- Leverage prospect stories to create compelling value propositions.
- Stay updated on industry trends and their impact on Palo Alto Networks.
- Travel as needed for meetings.
Required Experience:
- Experience with SaaS-based architectures, ideally in networking/security, including SASE technology.
- Proven experience selling complex solutions, value selling, or consultative sales.
- Technical aptitude to understand how technology solves business problems.
- Ability to identify problems, analyze data, find root causes, & provide scalable solutions.
- Strong relationships with channel partners.
- In-depth knowledge of the full sales cycle and structured sales process.
- Holistic approach to problem-solving, understanding complex interrelationships.
- Excellent time management, autonomy, and self-direction.
