Full-Time Student Services Advisor

Unitek Learning is seeking a 100% remote Student Services Advisor.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Contact students regularly via virtual meetings, phone, text, and email to provide support, resources, encouragement, and accountability.
2. Utilize student information systems, CRM systems, and reporting tools for timely task completion.
3. Complete outreach throughout the student lifecycle (e.g., welcome calls, orientation, progress check-ins, advising).
4. Offer comprehensive support to students, resolving concerns and escalating issues as needed.
5. Support student events (virtual or in-person).
6. Act as a programmatic expert, knowledgeable about program requirements, courses, equipment, and policies.
7. Provide resource information (counseling, tutoring, library).
8. Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with managers.
9. Implement strategies for student retention.
10. Complete departmental training and attend meetings as required.
11. Handle confidential student information according to FERPA regulations.
12. Demonstrate knowledge of policies, procedures, and accreditation requirements.
13. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required
• Experience in counseling, coaching, or related fields preferred
• Strong communication, customer interaction, organizational, and computer skills
• High integrity and work ethic
• Adaptability and quick learning
