Team Lead Product Specialist will coordinate a team of product analysts and catalog managers for accurate and effective e-commerce product data.
Responsibilities include setting processes for product data maintenance, quality control, and publications to ERP and e-commerce.
Responsibilities include:
- Coaching and training team members, providing feedback, and reviewing performance.
- Being a subject matter expert in product knowledge (Plumbing, HVAC, Industrial, and Waterworks).
- Prioritizing work and helping the team achieve monthly KPIs.
- Setting up processes for e-commerce product data, quality control, and publications.
- Delivering customer service to customers, vendors, and management.
- Creating audit checklists to correct product data issues.
- Ensuring accurate and compliant product information.
- Creating data standards for product data standardization.
- Conducting software research in AI to scale the data enrichment process.
- Utilizing a PIM system for product master data.
- Contacting stakeholders and influencing vendor partners.
- Acting as a subject matter expert and running analytics to encourage platform usage.
- Reviewing and improving team processes.
- Transforming strategic information into tactical processes.
- Influencing vendor partners for timely marketing data acquisition.
- Creating and maintaining processes and training documentation.
- Assessing situations and providing courses of action.
- Using SQL, data storage, and queues for PIM data processing.
- Reviewing and analyzing data (descriptions, attributes, SEO, etc.).
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business, information systems, or related fields; 5+ years experience in product management, e-commerce, or related fields; 3-5 years experience leading and managing a team; strong understanding of e-commerce, ERP, and PIM systems; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment; experience in stakeholder management and business analytics; general proficiency in SQL, data storage, and queue management.
Skills: strong analytical skills, excellent follow-up skills, good logistics knowledge, problem-solving skills, enthusiastic personality, ability to review and analyze data, proficiency in using PIM systems, strong business acumen and stakeholder management skills; bilingualism (English and French) is an asset.
