Reporting to the Store Manager, the Warranty Clerk is responsible for processing returns, warranties and transfers.
Objective: Improve returns and warranties processing times, accuracy, and completion rates to remove non-moving product, enabling stores to receive upgraded inventory and be first to market with the latest.
Responsibilities:
- Process and verify returns and warranties according to Company guidelines within set timelines.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, transfers, and inventory updates.
- Coordinate with DC, vendors, Finance, and Sales on credits and transfers.
- Communicate with customers, branches, and vendors regarding returns and warranties.
- Support regional inventory initiatives and improve processing accuracy and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Experience or knowledge in the automotive aftermarket and parts supply industry, complemented by warehouse or retail expertise.
- Proficiency in computer applications (Microsoft Office and delivery management software).
- Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple tasks, and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Professional attitude with excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license.
