What’s the role?As a Dynatrace Digital Experience Monitoring - Solutions Engineer, you will be a key member of the Dynatrace sales engine and will be responsible for providing excellent technical support to the sales team. You will be the expert on Dynatrace and observability, with a specialization in Digital Experience Monitoring and Business Analytics.

Within this exciting role, you will be responsible for:

  • Executing great demos demonstrating Dynatrace's unique approach.
  • Executing and managing POCs (onsite and remote).
  • Building key relationships with customers.
  • Completing RFIs & RFPs.
  • Working across teams (innovation labs, Expert Services, CSMs, marketing).

  • Experienced Solutions Engineer or in a technical customer-facing role.
  • Passionate about innovative technology, technical sales, and articulating value.
  • An excellent team player.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • 5+ years of experience with digital experience monitoring.
  • Able to troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Coachable and adaptable to a changing environment.
  • Able to travel up to 30% of the time.

Responsibilities:

  • Evangelize product offerings at trade shows and customer meetings.
  • Partner with sales to identify new and incremental sales opportunities.
  • Participate in PoC creation and cloud architecture discussions.
  • Present Dynatrace's vision to C-suite executives.
  • Provide technical guidance during the sales cycle.
  • Deliver on-stage demonstrations.
  • Gather, qualify, and provide feedback to Product Management.
  • Build best practices and share knowledge.
  • Identify learning & development opportunities.
  • Create and modify presentations.
  • Work with partners, providing technical support.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of experience in the digital experience monitoring space (AppDynamics, DataDog, etc.).

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience with instrumenting, configuring real user monitoring agents.
  • Experience with query languages/business intelligence tools.
  • Experience with web technologies (JavaScript, Angular, etc.).
  • Experience with session-replay tools.
  • Experience with mobile frameworks.
  • Experience with tag management technologies.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Experience with modern technologies (containers, Kubernetes).

Compensation:

  • Base salary range: $165,000 - $185,000.
