Major Account Manager is a key driver of company revenue and growth.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and drive sales engagements.
- Meet and exceed quota by implementing strategic territory plans targeting deployments of the Palo Alto Networks Next Generation Security Platform.
- Win business and market share by displacing competing technologies.
- Drive and orchestrate complex sales cycles.
- Work with internal partners and teams to best serve customers.
- Identify business challenges and create solutions for prospects and customers.
- Understand competitive landscape and customer needs for effective solution positioning.
- Create clear goals and accurate forecasting through detailed territory planning.
- Leverage prospect stories to create value propositions.
- Stay updated on industry news and trends affecting Palo Alto Networks products and services.
- Travel within territory and to company-wide meetings as needed.
Experience:
- Successfully sells complex solutions/value using consultative sales techniques.
- Experience in cold calling and acquisition.
- Comfortable communicating with all levels (admin to C-suite).
- Preferably experience selling to large clients in Germany.
- Cybersecurity expertise is a plus.
- Technical aptitude for understanding technology products and solutions.
- Identifies problems, reviews data, determines root causes and provides scalable solutions.
- Cultivates relationships with channel partners for channel-centric go-to-market.
- Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of full sales cycle and structured sales process.
- Holistic approach to problem solving and considering complex interrelationships.
- Excellent time management skills and high autonomy/self-direction.
- Strong English and German language proficiency for communication and presentation.
