Job Details
Team: Work with large organisations to secure their digital environments, supported by centralized research, tools and a collaborative sales culture.
Role Summary: As a Major Account Manager you will lead large, complex sales engagements to help customers build zero-trust security architectures and adopt Palo Alto Networks solutions. You will be responsible for territory planning, forecasting and driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive and orchestrate large complex sales cycles and coordinate internal teams.
- Use consultative selling to identify customer business challenges and define solutions.
- Position the portfolio against competitors and create compelling value propositions.
- Develop territory plans, set clear goals and produce accurate forecasts.
- Maintain awareness of industry trends and travel within the territory as required.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience with SaaS-based architectures, ideally in networking or security.
- Proven success selling complex solutions, value-selling and consultative techniques, ideally to defence accounts in Germany.
- Technical aptitude to map products to business problems and analyze root causes.
- Experience working with channel partners and following a structured sales process.
- Strong time management, autonomy and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent in German and English (written and spoken).
