Role overview: The Major Account Manager partners with customers to secure their digital experience and drives large, complex sales cycles for Palo Alto Networks' security platform.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and orchestrate large, complex sales engagements and develop detailed territory plans.
- Use consultative and value-selling techniques to identify business challenges and create solutions.
- Create clear goals and accurate forecasting.
- Collaborate with internal teams and channel partners to deliver customer-centric solutions.
- Monitor industry trends and the competitive landscape to position the portfolio effectively.
Experience & skills required:
- Experience selling complex SaaS-based networking or security solutions.
- Strong consultative selling, value-selling and technical aptitude.
- Ability to analyze data, identify root causes and implement scalable solutions.
- Proven account management and channel partner management experience.
- Excellent time management and ability to work autonomously.
Other: Travel within the territory and to company meetings as needed. New sales hires participate in the FLIGHT onboarding program.
