Overview: EVERSANA/Shionogi seeks a Virtual Sales Manager to hire, train, develop and manage a team of Virtual Sales Representatives supporting a potential Primary Care launch. The manager will oversee daily activities, liaise with the client, monitor sales metrics, coach reps, and ensure compliance and on‑label promotion.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead a team of Virtual Sales Representatives; own team productivity, staffing needs and culture.
- Oversee daily activities, provide ongoing leadership, and establish performance expectations.
- Monitor sales metrics and coach the team to meet or exceed sales and KPI goals; monitor calls and conduct virtual ride‑alongs.
- Serve as single point of contact for the client; provide frequent, clear client interaction and liaise for daily requests.
- Report team performance and KPIs to client and internal stakeholders; create call guides and maintain SOPs, CRM configuration and program documentation.
- Authorize and communicate personnel actions (salary changes, promotions, discipline, etc.) and administer program HR actions as needed.
- Provide initial and ongoing training on systems, processes, compliance, customer service, sales and product messaging.
- Perform quality assurance including scheduled and unscheduled monitoring and evaluation of virtual sales calls on a bi‑weekly basis.
- Act as team point of contact for CRM technical issues and collaborate across the EVERSANA platform to execute deliverables and recommendations.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 3+ years in pharmaceutical virtual sales and sales leadership with demonstrated success leading high‑performing virtual sales teams.
- Launch experience preferred.
- Strong negotiation skills, business acumen, analytical ability, and excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to develop and cultivate strong professional relationships and coach team members.
