Full-Time Regional Account Director

Regional Account Director (Edmonton based) Fairmont/Accor Canada’s Western Mountain Collection is embarking on an exciting transformation. Reporting to the Director of Group Sales at Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge this position can be home based in Edmonton. The Regional Account Director will be responsible for leading sales initiatives within Northern Alberta to ensure goals are exceeded.

Job Duties Include:

• Exceed personal sales quota (revenue and activities), on behalf of all hotels.
• Have an aptitude to work with all types of business and adapt your selling style.
• Responsible for driving guest room ADR, while confirming F&B and ancillary spend.
• Actively prospect new business and develop key accounts.
• Conduct routine & timely calls on accounts.
• Participate in training, industry trade shows and sales trips.
• Collect market & competitive intelligence.
• Develop and implement quarterly action plans.
• Maintain an effective record of correspondence.
• Participation and contribution in Sales Meetings.
• Adhere to hotel vehicle handling and safety policies.
• Work in a fast-paced environment.
• Handle special projects.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years hospitality sales manager experience
• Bachelor's Degree and/or Hotel Management Degree
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Proven sales leader with a professional, positive, and team-focused approach
• Ability to travel and work flexible hours
• Goal oriented and organized
• Legally eligible to work in Canada (Visa Requirements)
