Job Purpose: Seeking a highly motivated Senior Lifecycle Marketing Manager to join the dynamic marketing team. This cross-functional role develops and executes lifecycle marketing strategies, maximizing customer lifetime value and minimizing churn across two brands: Firstleaf (subscription) and Swirl (non-subscription). You'll guide segmentation, develop personalized contact strategies (email, SMS, web, push, referral), and play a key role in promotional strategy, collaborating with the Email Marketing Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Lifecycle Management: Design and optimize lifecycle programs; create a customer journey roadmap; drive retention and LTV; oversee Next Best Action programs; lead quarterly planning; partner with cross-functional teams; advise on and optimize the marketing tech stack; and manage vendor relationships.
- Segmentation, Personalization, and Optimization: Develop and implement segmentation strategies; design and implement rapid test-and-learn programs; optimize campaign performance; architect and deploy a personalization framework; identify gaps in personalization and segmentation.
- Multi-Channel Strategy and Development: Optimize channel use; align channels with journeys and audiences; optimize referral programs; and collaborate on email marketing strategies (transactional and marketing).
- Performance Analysis and Reporting: Understand key retention and portfolio health metrics; track and report on campaign performance; establish and streamline performance monitoring; analyze user behavior and performance.
Requirements: 4+ years of lifecycle marketing experience (preferably DTC/e-commerce); deep experience with email, CRM, loyalty programs, lifecycle journeys, and segmentation; proven ability to develop and execute successful retention strategies across multiple channels; strong analytical and project management skills; data-driven decision-making; understanding of compliance standards (e.g., CAN-SPAM, CCPA); and collaborative cross-functional skills.
Desired Skills: Strong interest in wine; SQL, HTML, Google Analytics, Shopify, and Braze experience is beneficial.
