Full-Time SMB Account Manager - Southeast

Account Manager role reports to the Regional Sales Director. Accountable for a geographic sales area, prospecting new customers, maintaining, and growing existing business.

1. Drive sales growth through Knowledge-based Selling. Understand customer needs by research, open-ended questions, and analysis. Utilize product knowledge to create unique solutions for each customer.
2. Leverage Consultative Approach. Develop deep understanding of customer needs, lead prospects through problem-solving dialogue to solution offering.
3. Drives to close sales, delivers personalized insights and custom solutions.
4. Demonstrates Market and Solution Knowledge. Understand sector needs, economic drivers, and articulate Sealed Air Protective Solutions, products, and programs.
5. Drive Sales Planning and Growth. Create a sales, profitability, and growth plan for assigned geography.
6. Maintain Accounts. Support customer accounts, build relationships, effectively address issues, and follow up on customer inquiries. Ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
7. Drive Profitability Improvement. Review account profitability with Marketing, utilize internal tools, deliver a market-priced strategy, and manage margins.
8. Manage Administrative Duties: Complete pricing, CRM reporting, rebate coordination, and customer relationship reporting.

• REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• BA/BS Degree; MBA/MS a plus
• 3+ years outside sales experience
• 3+ years MS Office Suite proficiency
• Valid Driver's License
• Ability to travel overnight
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM systems
