As a Dynatrace Solution Engineer, you'll be a key member of the Dynatrace sales engine, providing excellent technical support to the sales team. You'll be an expert on Dynatrace and Advanced Observability.
Responsibilities include:
- Executing great demos demonstrating Dynatrace's unique approach.
- Executing and managing Proof of Concepts (PoCs).
- Building key relationships with customers.
- Completing RFIs and RFPs.
- Collaborating with Dynatrace's innovation labs, Expert Services, CSMs, and marketing.
- Evangelizing Dynatrace products at trade shows and customer meetings.
- Partnering with sales reps to identify sales opportunities.
- Participating in PoC creation and cloud architecture discussions.
- Presenting Dynatrace's vision to C-suite executives.
- Providing technical guidance during the sales cycle.
- Delivering on-stage demonstrations.
- Gathering and qualifying customer feedback.
- Building best practices and sharing knowledge within the team.
- Identifying learning opportunities for yourself and the team.
- Creating and modifying Dynatrace presentations.
- Supporting partners and acting as a technical point of contact.
Required Skills:
- Previous Solution Engineer experience or similar technical customer-facing role.
- 3-5 years of experience with observability or application performance management.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Strong desire for professional growth.
- Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Experience with programming/scripting languages (Java, .NET, PHP, Go, Node.js).
- Knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux).
- DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering experience.
- Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Experience with modern technologies like containers, Kubernetes/OpenShift, serverless functions, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with automation tools (Ansible, Puppet, Terraform).
