Position Summary:
Wonderschool is harnessing the power of technology to provide comprehensive support to child care providers operating out of their homes as well as in the government and non-profit sectors. Our products and services enable child care providers to start new businesses, create high-quality learning environments, and meet the demands of their business, while also helping parents in need of childcare solutions through the creation of an accessible marketplace. Wonderschool is seeking an Account Executive - City, County & State who is passionate about contributing to our mission and purpose. This role is about understanding the unique needs of assigned states, and showcasing how Wonderschool can genuinely transform the child care landscape. Responsibilities:
● Sales Cycle Mastery: Manage the full sales cycle, from initial outreach and presentation to closing deals.
● Relationship Building: Develop strong relationships with key decision-makers in local governments and child care organizations, understanding their specific needs and concerns.
● Achieve & Exceed: Consistently achieve (and aim to exceed) monthly and quarterly sales quotas.
Required Qualifications:
● Minimum of 3 years enterprise sales experience.
● History of prospecting/using prospecting tools.
● Driven Mindset: A proven history of going above and beyond, whether in sales achievements, relationship-building, or problem-solving. Your persistence is legendary.
● Sales Excellence: Demonstrated experience in city, county and state sales, with experience working with city, county and state governments.
● Strategic Vision: The ability to see the bigger picture, understanding not just the 'what' but the 'why' behind our mission, and translating that into sales strategies.
Preferred Qualifications:
● Industry Knowledge: Prior experience or understanding of the child care sector.
● SLED/Government sales experience.
