Account Executive - Screening (East/Central Brooklyn)
Join a growing commercial team at Guardant Health, working closely with sales leadership to develop go-to-market strategies and launch new cancer screening technology.
Essential Duties:
- Prospect and target healthcare providers for cancer screening (CRC liquid biopsy).
- Meet or exceed sales goals, maximize promotional budgets, and execute national sales strategy.
- Drive business expansion/collaboration with primary care providers.
- Develop a business plan aligned with brand strategy for product launch.
- Partner with laboratories for phlebotomy draw agreements.
- Identify market opportunities, share best practices, and communicate with cross-functional partners.
- Analyze competitive landscape and provide customer feedback.
- Develop strategic plans for gaining and retaining clients.
- Manage promotional activities to support sales and marketing strategies.
- Collaborate with sales team to achieve company goals.
- Represent company culture to internal and external stakeholders.
- Travel daily within assigned territory and regionally/nationally.
- Comply with company Quality Management System.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of direct experience in healthcare sales (diagnostics, medical devices, or pharmaceuticals).
- Consistent closing abilities and proven performance exceeding expectations.
- Strong communication, presentation, and selling skills.
- Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
- High level of confidentiality and ability to handle sensitive information.
- Excellent market, customer, distribution, and product knowledge.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems (ideally Salesforce and Veeva).
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Ability to meet doctor office and clinic entry requirements.
Compensation:
US base salary range: $110,000 - $133,000 (does not include benefits, bonus, or commission).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with diagnostic product sales to primary care providers.
- Product launch planning and execution experience.
- Familiarity with primary care practice landscape in the assigned territory.
Additional Notes:
- Majority of work performed in desk/office environment.
- Possible exposure to noise, fumes, and biohazard materials.
