moleko, a leading producer of sulfur-based specialty chemistries, is seeking an experienced, self-motivated account manager with a hunter mentality to acquire new customers within the power and oil & gas sectors.
Role Overview:
The successful candidate will manage a developing existing territory, focusing on ammonium bisulfite chemicals (oxygen scavengers) for industrial boiler systems and the oil & gas industry. The role emphasizes new business development, strategic partnership building, and market share expansion. Over 50% of the role will be dedicated to new business development and product introduction.
Responsibilities:
- Proven ability to identify new market opportunities and potential prospects.
- Strong analytical skills and understanding of oxygen scavenger processes and value chains.
- Proficient use of CRM and data management tools (e.g., Power BI).
- Preferred experience in the oil & gas industry.
- Management of distribution partners (a plus).
- Building relationships with industry influencers and associations.
- Problem-solving and customer-centric approach.
- Generating quotes and proposals to secure and retain business.
- Communicating effectively with moleko management regarding market trends, opportunities, threats, and issues.
- Preparing data and reports to support budgeting and performance reviews.
- Professional representation of the company at industry events.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the power or oil & gas industries.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with confidence in closing deals and developing existing accounts.
- Willingness to travel (at least 50%) and work in industrial environments while adhering to strict safety protocols.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently.
- MS Office proficiency; SAP experience a plus.
