Area Vice President is responsible for leading overall client relationships in health plan sales, securing new business opportunities, and driving company growth for Press Ganey solutions.
Client Relationship Management:
- Develop outstanding relationships with clients across all levels, especially executive suite.
- Ensure client value is realized and retention of existing revenue.
- Lead client value strategy, engaging C-suite and business leaders to maximize the relationship.
Business Development:
- Identify sales opportunities and partner with the sales team for growth.
- Develop and implement business development strategies for net new business.
- Target potential clients through market research, networking, and lead generation.
- Present solutions to prospective clients.
- Manage the sales pipeline to meet targets.
Strategic Analysis and Insight:
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to adjust strategies.
- Provide market insights and strategic advice.
- Demonstrate deep client knowledge and develop recommendations based on client needs and usage.
- Work cross-functionally to fulfill client value proposition and address concerns.
- Maintain regular communication and alignment with the client C-Suite.
Client Experience:
- Understand the Client Partnership Dashboard (Voice of Client and internal client health assessment).
- Develop and implement plans to address identified issues and concerns.
Experience Requirements:
- 5-10 years of sales experience.
- Experience selling to health plans (payers) and TPAs.
- Understanding of health plans (including Star Ratings, HEDIS measures, Medicare, Medicaid, etc.).
Skills & Qualifications:
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, listening, and presentation skills.
- Solid understanding of strategic planning, execution, business development, and sales.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Flexibility to work between 8 AM ET and 5 PM ET, including weekends and holidays (hours may be flexible).
- Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of relevant experience.
