Area Vice President - Health Plan Sales
Summary
Lead relationships with health plan clients to maximize client value and identify new business opportunities for Press Ganey solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Relationship Management: Serve as the primary contact, fostering strong relationships across all levels, especially the executive suite, to ensure client retention and revenue maximization.
- Client Value Strategy: Develop and execute strategies to ensure clients are maximizing Press Ganey solutions and understand their needs.
- Business Development: Identify sales opportunities, partner with the sales team to secure new business, and develop effective business development strategies to generate net new business.
- Prospecting: Identify and target potential clients through market research, networking, and lead generation.
- Client Presentations: Present and demonstrate Press Ganey solutions to prospective clients.
- Pipeline Management: Manage the sales pipeline and ensure targets are met.
- Market Analysis: Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and industry shifts to adapt strategies and identify new opportunities.
- C-Suite Engagement: Maintain regular engagement with the C-suite to align with client strategy and goals. Conduct regular executive briefings.
- Client Insight & Recommendations: Demonstrate deep knowledge of client usage and business needs to provide insightful recommendations. Understand the clients’ Partnership Dashboard and implement action plans to address concerns and opportunities.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work across Press Ganey to fulfill the client value proposition and address client needs/concerns.
- Market Insights: Provide market insights and strategic advice.
Experience & Qualifications
- 5-10 years sales experience in selling to health plans, payers, and TPAs
- Understanding of Health Plans, Star Ratings, HEDIS measures, Medicare, and Medicaid
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
- Solid working knowledge of strategic planning, business development, and sales
- Proven leadership and organizational skills
- Bachelor's degree and relevant experience
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary range: $101,000 - $160,000. Bonus/commission tied to performance.
