Area Vice President's primary responsibility is to retain assigned health system and provider clients by securing long-term renewals of existing contracts, as well as growing revenue by selling Press Ganey solutions to the clients.
Ideal candidates will be assigned clients in our western region, ideally located in the following metropolitan areas based near a major airport in VA, DC, PA, NY, or MA.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Serve as the overall strategic relationship manager for the client and be responsible for retaining existing client revenue.
- Deliver consistently on financial growth targets (quota) for new and expansion business within defined clients.
- Create comprehensive client plans outlining strategies for achieving client objectives and financial growth targets (quota).
- Gain and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the entire product portfolio, including features, benefits, and use cases.
- Understand how the products compare to competitors' offerings, including strengths and weaknesses.
- Participate in all required training sessions, workshops, and webinars.
- Complete any required certifications and tests to demonstrate proficiency.
- Analyze client needs and market trends to identify opportunities for growth.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations.
- Create and present detailed sales proposals.
- Negotiate terms of sales agreements to maximize revenue and profit.
- Work cross-functionally, partnering with Client Success and Advisory.
- Build and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders.
- Maintain records of all sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system.
Requirements
- 5+ years of account management and/or sales experience.
- Understanding of the unique opportunities and challenges within healthcare.
- SaaS solutions experience preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, listening, and presentation skills.
- Solid working knowledge of strategic planning, execution, business development, and sales.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities and organizational skills.
- Results-driven and strong relationship building skills.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Flexible to travel up to 50% or more.
Salary and Benefits
Expected base salary: $101,000 - $160,000.
Salary offers vary based on relevant skills, experience, education, licensure, and organizational factors.
Eligible for discretionary bonus or commission tied to achieved results.
