Are you the Business Development Manager we've been looking for?
You will join a successful conference team and sell sponsorship packages internationally and strengthen our EV Infrastructure Solar & Renewable Energy Revenues events portfolio. We work across a diverse portfolio of events in the USA and Europe. Our key goal is to collaborate with our customers to help their businesses thrive and create a sustainable future on a global scale.
Role Accountability and Duties:
- Close and repeat high-value business at conferences
- Maximizing revenue through sponsorship sales
- Developing relationships with decision-makers to create new opportunities and build accounts
- Identifying and securing new customers with major account potential
- Achieving and exceeding KPIs and monthly sales targets
- Managing a sales pipeline document for reporting purposes
- Forecasting business accurately on a weekly and monthly basis
- Gathering product and company feedback from clients and prospects
What you bring to the team:
- A solid and proven background in (ideally conference) sales, minimum 3-5 years
- Proven track record of winning new business and successfully managing the accounts of existing clients
- Able to sell on concept and provide a consultative sales approach with an excellent telephone manner

- Able to travel globally to events and pitch in person existing and new business opportunities
- Identify new product or event ideas to senior management
The pay range for this position is $75,000 - $85,000 depending on experience, plus commission.
Desirable, but not essential:
- Experience with CRM (Salesforce)
- Excellent closer of business
- Language skills
- Market knowledge (EV, Solar, Energy Storage)
- The ability to work remotely and self-motivated
