Verisk's ISO Commercial Lines Product Development division seeks a motivated Commercial Property Product Development team member to create and update insurance programs, responding to market changes.
Strategic thought leadership is required on Commercial Property, Inland Marine, and Output Policy lines of business.
Utilize knowledge of coverages, markets, industries, legal/regulatory trends, customers, and competitors to assess program impact, provide insights, and develop new products/enhancements.
Collaborate with product strategy leaders and compliance experts on emerging trends and new product creation.
Customer focus is paramount: Engage with customers, respond to feedback, and develop products anticipating their needs (e.g., participate in panels/forums, represent products to customers).
Collaborate with all stakeholders, fostering perspectives, contributions, and partnerships within the team, company, and with customers/partners.
- Active role in property multi-state filings.
- Organize commercial property panel meetings (agenda/minutes).
- Facilitate legal review of product changes/enhancements.
- Collaborate with actuarial department as needed.
Required Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 5-10+ years P&C insurance experience with strong Commercial Property, Inland Marine, and/or Output Policy coverage knowledge.
- Robust knowledge of market, industry, and competitor trends.
- Excellent policy form development/analysis.
- Proven research/analytical skills.
- Proactive problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented.
- Strong verbal/written communication skills.
- Presentation comfort at industry events.
- Experience building internal/external customer relationships for actionable insights and collaborative partnerships.
Preferred Skills
- CPCU, other industry designations, or law degree.
