Job Details

Procore is seeking a Commercial Solutions Engineer to serve as a technical expert during the acquisition sales cycle in the commercial segment.

You will partner with the Canadian Account Executive team, working with mid to large-sized companies in Canada. Your role involves articulating Procore's value proposition, helping organizations understand best practices around construction project management solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own pre-sales technical support from initial contact through product demonstration and closing.
  • Craft value-based presentations addressing customer business problems and accelerating platform adoption.
  • Participate in technical demonstrations, coordinating internal and external technical resources.
  • Collaborate with Sales to close deals by addressing technical challenges.
  • Train and support Account Executives to become Procore experts.
  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to achieve project milestones.
  • Develop best practices, connecting prospects and clients with Product Managers and Marketing for enhanced client success and Procore's market leadership.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of sales engineering experience or construction industry experience.
  • Experience setting up Account Executives/Managers for success.
  • Strong technical aptitude to master Procore’s offerings.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills (in-person and virtual).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience mentoring and leading team members.
  • Experience as a technology evangelist, promoting modernization in the construction industry (a plus).
  • Understanding of different construction verticals (general contracting, subcontracting, real estate, etc.) and industries (Oil & Gas, Civil & Infrastructure, ICI) (a plus).
  • French speaking is preferred.
