Country Manager - Sales will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the sales strategy in the US.
This leadership position entails managing the sales team, driving revenue growth, and fostering strong customer relationships. Ensure alignment with company strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy aligning with company goals.
- Identify key market opportunities, customer segments, and growth areas to drive sales and increase market share.
- Set and manage sales targets, budgets, and forecasts.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to achieve sales targets and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Oversee recruitment, training, and development of sales staff.
- Implement effective sales processes, tools, and technologies to improve team productivity.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders within the US.
- Analyze market dynamics, customer needs, and the competitive landscape to inform sales strategies.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics (revenue, pipeline, market share).
- Develop and implement strategies to address sales challenges.
- Ensure effective management of the sales pipeline.
- Collaborate with marketing, product development, and operations teams.
- Provide feedback to the product development team.
- Work with finance and supply chain teams to manage sales resources.
- Prepare and present regular sales reports.
- Utilize data and analytics to drive strategic decision-making.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities.
Experience Required:
- Masters degree in Business, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 10 years' Sales Experience
- Proven experience in a senior sales role
- Strong track record of achieving sales targets
- Experience in manufacturing companies (highly desirable)
- Exceptional leadership and team management abilities
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Experience with DI (Ductile Iron) Pipe, GRP(Glass Reinforced Plastic) pipes, HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene) pipes, OPVC (Oriented Polyvinyl Chloride) pipes, and Waste Water Systems
- Proficiency in CRM systems, sales analytics tools
- Willingness to travel
