ProducePay is on a mission to transform the global fresh produce industry. We are seeking a strategic and dynamic Director of North America Sales to lead a sales team and drive growth in the U.S market.
Reporting to the SVP of Sales, you will drive growth, revenue, and profitability for enterprise accounts.
Responsibilities include:
- Manage enterprise accounts across the entire sales process.
- Focus on prospecting, cultivating relationships, and closing deals.
- Sell new and customized products.
- Leverage and build customer relationships.
- Travel frequently to visit customers and industry events.
- Collaborate with sales, technology, operations, and marketing teams.
Requirements:
- 10-15 years of experience selling fresh produce to enterprise customers.
- Experience managing multiple fresh produce commodities.
- Strong track record in long sales cycles and major account acquisition.
- Deep understanding of fresh market dynamics.
- High-energy, results-driven leader.
Preferred but not required:
- Experience in a purchasing or operations role at a distributor or retailer.
- Experience in both retail and food-service sectors.
Ideal but not required:
- Demonstrated achievements in sales growth, market share expansion, and profitability improvement.
- Strong understanding of consumer markets and thought leadership skills.
- Established network of relationships within the fresh produce industry.
- Proven ability to sell new products and programs.
- Data-driven mindset.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (plus).
