Role Overview
As a Sales Engineer, you will assess prospect's technical needs, leverage Chainguard's products to meet those needs, cultivate relationships with decision-makers, and negotiate stakeholder requirements. You'll secure technical wins through demos, RFP/RFI responses, lead POVs, feature requests, and industry events.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Sales to showcase our solution's value.
- Acquire new customers and grow existing accounts.
- Own all technical aspects of sales opportunities and customer support.
- Understand customer challenges and needs through effective listening.
- Conduct product demonstrations and Proof of Concepts.
- Actively participate in webinars, meetups, conferences.
Requirements
- Experience as a Sales Engineer or Pre-Sales Engineer (3+ years)
- Experience with Enterprise (3+ years) and Mid-Market prospects.
- Understanding of MEDDPICC and/or Command of the Message sales frameworks
- Knowledge of Container technologies (Kubernetes, Docker, Serverless), Cloud technology (AWS, Azure, Google), Cloud security, and Application security is essential.
- Startup experience a plus
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong teamwork and mentoring abilities.

OTE: $225,000-$275,000
