So, what will you do?
As part of our Field Sales team, you’ll be tasked with expanding iKhokha’s customer base while hitting ambitious sales targets across various locations in South Africa.
Your role will involve:
- Actively sourcing new sales opportunities
- Building a strong pipeline
- Closing deals
- Prospecting and canvassing for new customers in targeted areas and industries
- Post-sale call and follow-ups, logging all activity and demos with clients
- Promotional or new product upsell/cross-sell/service calls
- Researching new sales leads
- Planning country trips and executing plans to acquire new customers
- Ensuring all set company Gross Profit, Device sales, and Demo targets are achieved on a monthly & quarterly basis
- Completing feedback loops (Swarm, demo, HubSpot, deal pipeline management)
- Providing proactive feedback regarding suggested changes or improvements to sales or service procedures
- Signing up merchants and assisting them with FICA documentation
- Complimentary follow-up visits
- Focusing on specialized campaigns and reporting in detail on these, such as top merchant campaign or area-targeted campaigns
- Upholding company standards and values when representing the brand
- Monitoring competition and sharing relevant insights
- Taking full ownership and accountability for resolving customer complaints
- Maintaining professional and technical knowledge through ongoing learning
Deal breakers:
- Minimum 3 years’ Field/Outbound Sales experience
- Previous experience in merchant services is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Intermediate knowledge using Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Sales Software & CRM
- FICA training is advantageous
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transport
Additional Skills & Knowledge:
- Proven track record delivering on sales targets
- Successfully dealing with customer relationships
- Advanced knowledge of Sales funnel & pipeline management
