Veolia is looking for a Field Service Engineer who is the first line service provider in driving service excellence.
Role Summary/Purpose: The Field Service Engineer is a professional service provider in the water treatment industry.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Perform on-site chemical testing and program follow-up
- Customer reporting and Data processing with the use of the Veolia InSight platform
- First line trouble shooting for Cooling, Boiler, Water & Waste and Industrial process water treatment applications
- Execute Site Surveys, Equipment Start up and Commissioning
- Manage small repairs and maintenance
- Make the correct diagnoses on-site for larger repairs
- Retain strong verbal and written contact with customers
- Minor assembly operations, as required
- Project coordination
- Follow and conduct technical trainings
- Fulfill Pilot trials and Field trials
- Participate in local team meetings
- Comply with integrity and safety
- Report all work-related incidents and near misses
- Participate in required EHS Training
- Perform Workplace Inspections and report findings
- Achieve annual EHS Goals
- Support the Account Manager during Business Reviews
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Service oriented
- Chemical background
- Taking initiative
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commercial feeling
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Basic computer knowledge
- Proficiency in data processing
- Good knowledge of Dutch & English
- Strong flexibility, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience/interest in Waste Water Treatment (preferred)
- Driver’s license and willingness to travel
