Head of Sales for Informa Connect Wealth Management is a key role responsible for owning a Territory and Book of Business, leading the media sales team, and driving departmental revenue growth.
Primary Objectives: Implement and oversee a sales strategy to grow revenue and revenue potential. Develop products, proposals, and solutions for Media, Marketing Services, and Research tailored to client needs. Identify new accounts and key partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and manage a book of business and personal territory
- Achieve personal Revenue, Client Retention, and Growth Goals; ensure team achieves collective goals
- Lead and manage a team of sales professionals (currently 3 Sales Managers)
- Set goals and targets aligned with company objectives; support team efforts
- Manage pipelines and accurately forecast
- Manage sales databases; develop resources for core offerings
- Ensure accounts and territories are structured and aligned with strategy
- Establish a client-first, solutions-based sales culture
- Set pricing for media and research offerings
- Partner with event sales team to implement integrated solutions
- Set compensation, commission levels, and team incentives for media sales team
- Identify new accounts and key partners to drive growth
- Develop products, proposals, and solutions across Media, Marketing Services, and Research that meet client needs
- Align sales strategy and process with industry opportunities
- Ensure SalesForce Usage, hygiene, and monitoring
- Create Reports for Senior Management from Sales Force
- Manage Excel reports, trackers, and monitoring tools
- Monitor and report on performance, activity, revenue risks, and opportunities
- Seek opportunities for personal and team development and growth
- Identify and implement best practices for sales efficiency and effectiveness
