Trupanion is seeking a versatile and self-motivated Licensed Insurance Sales Agent - Québec with proficiency in both English and French to join our pet-loving company!
If you have an active AMF-approved General Damage Insurance Level 1 or Personal Damage Insurance Level 1 license and demonstrate a commitment to delivering exceptional service in sales and customer interactions, this position is for you.
As Licensed Insurance Sales Agent, you will play a pivotal role in supporting both current and future members.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- New Members:
- Answer inbound warm leads from potential members.
- Use a consultative approach to understand each member’s needs.
- Present Trupanion’s pet insurance policies.
- Maintain call control.
- Provide detailed information about policies and address member questions.
- Enroll pets in policies.
- Current Members:
- Serve as a dedicated point of contact.
- Address policy inquiries.
- Ensure their overall satisfaction.
- Cancellation and Retention:
- Handle inquiries from members considering cancellation.
- Employ active listening and problem-solving skills to retain members.
- Phone and Email Communication:
- Engage with members over the phone and through email.
Required Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in sales and/or customer service.
- Previous experience in a bilingual sales/customer service role.
Qualifications:
- Active AMF-approved General Damage Insurance Level 1 or Personal Damage Insurance Level 1 license.
- Fluent in both English and French.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
- Ability to adapt to members’ needs.
- Goal-oriented mindset.
Compensation:
Annual salary of $80,000 CAD.
Schedule:
Initial four weeks of training: Monday-Friday, 11:00 a.m. EST - 8:00 p.m. EST.
Set schedule options: Thursday-Monday or Friday-Tuesday, 11:00 a.m. EST - 8:30 p.m. EST.
