Phocas Software is seeking a driven Sales Account Executive to join our dynamic team. As a Sales Account Executive, you will be responsible for expanding sales, nurturing client relationships, and ensuring the long-term success of our customers.
Responsibilities include:
- Proactively engaging existing customers to identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
- Analyzing customer accounts to evaluate pain points and propose solutions.
- Articulating the value of Phocas solutions in customized demos/presentations.
- Accurately forecasting sales activity and revenue.
- Staying abreast of industry developments and Phocas product updates.
- Attending trade shows and industry events.
Requirements:
- Degree qualification or relevant work experience
- 3+ years of quota-carrying sales experience, ideally with software solutions and B2B environments.
- Experience with CRM systems like Salesforce or HubSpot.
- Ability to travel 15-25% of the time (domestic & international).
- Experience with business intelligence, accounting technology, or ERP solutions.
- Previous Sales Methodology (SPIN, Challenger, Force, MEDDIC) training is desirable
- Prior experience with HubSpot is preferred.
- Prior experience in target markets like Manufacturing, Distribution, Retail, or Services.
