We are seeking a Sales Account Manager to focus within Health. The role is Home Based, with travel to client sites. NECSWS has a strong reputation across the public sector, with a high level of wins within Health – and we’re keen to bring someone into the team with strong experience of this – so this can continue to grow. The role will predominantly involve sales of NEC Rego. This is our integrated referral management platform across primary and secondary care – check out the video below!
The key focus of the role will be to develop a set of strategic relationships at a senior level in Health – typically NHS Accounts. This will be to enable sales to be made into the market – with a particular focus on Software Sales into Clinicians and NHS Trusts. This will require relationship engagement at a senior level within the sector including Commissioners, Senior Executive and CEO or similar.
The Account Manager will also liaise with other sales, pre sales and delivery staff within NECSWS to deliver revenue and develop the Account for NEC. They will be responsible for the target revenue associated with their territory, and also ensuring the CRM is maintained at all times for their accounts commensurate with the guidelines issued.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop current relationships with existing customers and create relationships with the Commissioners, Senior Management/Board and CEO and consistently engage with the customer to ensure expectations are being met both pre and post sale, managing their expectations and ensuring we are able to deliver our promises.
- Generate opportunities for new or extended product sales, swap-outs, and solution development into assigned accounts
- Ensure achievement of sales against own target and achieve sales activities in line with KPIs set as part of the review process
- Develop and maintain a Pipeline of qualified sales opportunities that will deliver targeted revenue for your territory and contribute to the group sales number for the overall Team
- Build long term relationships with assigned clients at a strategic & influencing level, including ensuring customer enquiries are dealt with in a timely manner
- Develop Strategic opportunities and bids in your accounts
- Track projects in your sites through to satisfactory completion, including ensuring all pre sales, bid and project procedures are adhered to and the delivery of bids is of high quality, in conjunction with the bid team and pre sales resources
- Understand and ensure adherence to corporate policy, processes, procedures and guidelines.
- Attend and participate in meetings with internal and external partners as required, along with training courses as directed by your line manager
- Become a valued member of the Team through efficient working practices and self development and contribute to a team oriented, collaborative culture and way of working that enhances NEC performance as a Company
- Assist in the resolution of Debts when requested by Sales Director/Manager including ensuring delivery of balanced sales and services revenues in line with sales targets and maintaining awareness of changes in that account
