The Sales Development Representative (SDR) will play a key role in driving revenue growth by identifying, generating, and qualifying new business opportunities for the sales team across Mexico and the U.S. This role will be responsible for building a high-quality sales pipeline.
What You’ll Do:
- Conduct market research to identify target customers, key contacts, and decision-makers.
- Proactively identify and engage potential customers through outbound phone calls, emails, LinkedIn messages, and other channels to generate qualified leads for Shiji solutions.
- Qualify and process inbound sales leads promptly.
- Assess sales leads based on desire, budget, authority, and need criteria, scheduling appointments.
- Reach out to potential customers to encourage participation in Shiji-hosted events.
- Assist in the setup and preparation for events, ensuring a seamless experience and representing Shiji at key events.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and target markets, analyzing and documenting competitive insights to strategically position Shiji solutions.
- Implement and test new outreach techniques periodically.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of contact information in Zoho CRM.
- Collaborate with assigned sales executives to refine outreach strategies.
- Meet or exceed weekly/monthly KPIs for outreach, qualified leads, and engagement.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up capabilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Demonstrated customer-first approach
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):
- Experience in the hotel or hospitality software industry
- Demonstrated consultative sales skills
