SALES DIRECTOR - West Coast
Role Summary: Individual contributor role focused on creating and closing sales opportunities for automated storage solutions (pallet shuttles, tote shuttles, mobile robots, conveyors, lifts).
Key Responsibilities:
- Initiate sales opportunities with warehouse automation integrators on behalf of end customers.
- Find new integrators to partner with.
- Participate in trade shows (Modex/Promat, industry-specific).
- Lead marketing efforts (blog posts, trade show speaking).
- Provide monthly and yearly sales forecasts and reports.
- Support sold projects (change orders).
Qualifications:
- Several years of sales experience in material handling, ideally for a manufacturer selling to integrators or selling as an integrator.
- Hunter and farmer mindset.
- Must live near a major airport.
- Willing to travel 50% throughout US and Canada; occasional travel to Europe (training/reference sites).
- Morning hours are crucial for communication with European colleagues.
Compensation: $200,000 - $300,000 annually with uncapped commission.
