We are looking for technically savvy and commercially aware Sales Engineers to join our growing EMEA team. As a Sales Engineer, you will actively drive and manage the technical positioning and evaluation phases of the sales process and will be an integral member of the team, working as the key advisor and advocate for Jitterbit’s products and solutions - helping prospective customers achieve their business outcomes.
As a Sales Engineer, you will support sales productivity and deal flow by securing the "technical close" in complex solutions. You will collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, Professional Services, Engineering, and other technical support resources to ensure we continue to meet & exceed our exciting growth targets.
To be successful, you must articulate technology in both technical and non-technical terms, and be comfortable communicating the value that Jitterbit delivers. We are looking for a proven performer who can establish & maintain strong relationships throughout the sales cycle, demonstrate a passion for technology, and understand customer needs.
Responsibilities:
- Attend and participate in customer discovery calls with Account Executives
- Develop and deliver platform demonstrations & managed trials
- Undertake 'Proof of Concept' projects
- Represent the Jitterbit platform to prospects/customers at webinars and field events
- Respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs
- Convince customers, prospects, and partners of the technical validity and value-add of our solution
- Create repeatable and reusable content/collateral
- Provide technical consulting advice for in-flight projects
- Provide feedback to Product Management and Engineering teams
- Suggest process improvements to drive efficiency gains
Requirements:
- C1/C2 English language skills
- 2+ years experience in pre-sales/customer-facing technical support
- Strong background in technology, preferably low-code, data integration, and/or API space
- Working knowledge of SOAP and RESTful APIs
- Salesforce.com integration experience (desirable)
- Working knowledge of popular ERPs (SAP, NetSuite, Oracle, Microsoft - a plus)
- Passion for learning new technologies and trends
- Strong presentation and storytelling skills
- Excellent time & task management skills
- Exceptional analytical thought process
- Ability to speak Italian
