In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- The Sales Specialist will achieve annual product sales goals set for the territory while working in coordination with the local assigned team within their territory.
- The Sales Specialist will maintain accurate and timely opportunity funnel and customer data in SFDC with coaching as needed.
- The associate will achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through delivery of sales and support assistance and coordinate product demo, installs, and customer training with support from manager and/or mentor.
- Work with prospective and current customers to increase Leica Biosystems' influence and presence across territories.
- Monitor and develop awareness of competitive activities and strategies.
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science OR equivalent work experience and Minimum 3+ years of relevant sales (or equivalent experience)
- Proven contract negotiation and high-level selling experience, or selling in a matrixed environment
- Experience with Salesforce.com or other CRM software
Travel and Motor Vehicle Record Requirements:
- Travel - 50-75% and ability to travel overnight for territory coverage (if applicable) and/or for company meetings
- Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Prior capital sales experience
