Account Director is responsible for understanding and representing Digital products, services, and solutions to clients.
As Account Director of Retail Media Product Sales, you will develop and drive sales strategies for new digital business to increase revenue and market share through innovation.
Pursue opportunities through organic growth, new business, and an effective partnership/sales strategy with internal sales team and clients to sell Retail Media products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish a strategic consultative process with new and existing clients for promotion and marketing of services and solutions to capture revenue opportunities.
- Expand knowledge base of client business objectives and requirements.
- Build strong partnerships with clients through deep understanding of their businesses and marketing/advertising initiatives.
- Engage other RRD product sales experts to propose optimal solutions.
- Effectively communicate how to promote RMN products/services to best fit client needs (Travel may be required).
- Align and implement annual strategic business plan for RMN to drive revenue and new business creation across products.
- Create and develop executable programs, materials, and processes driven by market insights.
- Provide valued, comprehensive, and strategic account management to be a business partner.
- Ensure tactical and flawless implementation of products, services, and solutions.
- Stay current on industry trends, best practices, CRM, and business development.
- Research, tailor, and teach commercial insights to clients.
- Remain point of contact for addressing client concerns.
- Meet with clients quarterly to build relationships and drive value.
- Attend industry conferences to stay current on trends and meet prospective clients.
Education & Knowledge: Bachelor’s degree preferably in Business, Marketing, or Communications; or equivalent.
Experience / Skills and Competencies: 9+ years in a quota-carrying sales role, demonstrating consistent success; 7+ years selling Retail/In-store Media and other digital solutions (IAB or others) in the Programmatic Media space, especially DOOH and audiences. Extensive knowledge of Digital MarTech and Retail Media Ecosystem. Expert use of data and insights as a solution selling tool.
Communication & Contacts (Internal/External): Communication with clients and internal co-workers.
Decision Making Scope: Ability to make recommendations and bring out-of-box recommendations to clients.
Other: Travel required.
Salary: $50,000 - $150,000/year. The pay range may be adjusted based on location and may change in the future.
