This position is an entry-level sales position for Stratas Foods, Foodservice. The primary role is to provide dedicated direct sales development support calling on food service operators. The position works with our broker organization, reporting to our Division Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operator Fry testing and product cuttings are a main priority.
- Brands specialist aiding our broker street sales teams and distributor sales reps.
- Assisting in regional and national account field support efforts.
- Identifying operator targets to sell NB products (DSM) with a focus on local and regional chain operators.
- Setting up and monitoring Operator Fry tests and product samplings.
- Working alongside Brokers to achieve goals and objectives through direct selling support.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with Distributors Street sales reps.
- Daily focus on operator sales calls and support.
- Participating in sales meetings, attending Food Shows, and other activities to grow the business.
- Leading key Operator sales growth through lead follow-up and fry test management.
- Providing product solutions, market intelligence, and technical expertise.
- Learning more effective selling techniques to maximize effectiveness (product knowledge, presentations, organizational skills).
- Utilizing promotional tools proficiently.
- Supporting the One Foodservice strategy, funneling commodity opportunities to Distributor brands managers and inside sales.
- Becoming proficient in Salesforce.com for opportunity management and customer relationship management.
- Handling administrative duties (expense reports, contract management, email responses).
Travel: Up to 50% within the assigned territory.
Competencies:
- Strong presentation skills
- Ability to learn and train
- Strong foodservice background, Food production, and Sales experience are a plus
- Understanding of Business dynamics and selling propositions
- Balancing cost vs. value effectively across the Branded Portfolio.
Education/Experience:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Culinary, Food Marketing, or related field
- Three (3) years Foodservice experience (Distributor Sales, Broker Sales, Manufacturer sales)
Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications

- Salary Range: $78,715.26 - $98,394.07
