We are looking for a Director, Marketing Strategy - Product, Pricing & Customer Growth to join our growing team! In this role, you will lead the team responsible for planning, creating, developing and managing Brightspeed’s consumer facing product, pricing and offer portfolio.
You are a strategic, analytical and collaborative leader who can synthesize complex marketplace, operational, organizational, technical and customer inputs into effective competitive strategies for driving revenue growth and manage costs.
You will need to be customer-focused, innovative and a strong communicator who can prioritize their team’s work and drive ambiguous projects to completion.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Build a diverse team of strategy, product, pricing and offer experts and lead them to work together and cross functionally to drive the growth of the business.
- Work cross functionally with peers across the CMO organization as well as with Ops, Finance, IT and others, and ensure that their team are working and communicating in collaboration with their peers.
- Build and maintain the value proposition for Brightspeed’s product portfolio including Broadband Internet (Fiber & DSL), Voice (VOIP & POTS), Value Added Services, and other elements of the portfolio of things we offer and charge for.
- Build and maintain all pricing and offers across Consumer & SMB.
- Manage pricing & profitability for proposals for MDU deals.
- Develop strategies for subscriber and ARPU growth that leverage product features, pricing, offers, partnerships and other customer experience elements that are upstream from marketing and advertising tactics.
- Drive the value proposition and offer roadmap, working with marketing operations to balance feasibility, capacity, and prioritization.
- Deploy market tests and trials and work with Analytics and Effectiveness team to understand the impact on results and determine go forward plans.
What It Takes:
- Bachelor’s Degree and 10 Years Experience, with 3 Years in a Management Role
- Experience developing and managing direct to consumer or SMB subscription services such as internet, wireless, insurance, financial services, SAAS, etc.
- 3+ years of experience communicating strategic concepts to partners in marketing and sales
- 3+ years of experience with financial analysis of pricing including business cases, what if scenarios, customer lifetime value
- 3+ years experience managing to business targets for subscribers, ARPU, offer spend, etc.
Bonus Points:
- Knowledge of Telecommunications industry, specifically product, pricing and marketing tools and tactics
- Experience developing partnerships for Value Added Services with outside technology partners in the content, assurance, financial and gaming space
